Web Summit & Startup Summit 2026 — Products & Startup Ecosystem
Being in innovation spaces changes how we see products, technology, and markets.
Taking part in Web Summit Rio and Startup Summit in 2026 was less about following trends and more about being close to the people building, funding, and operating new businesses.

Connections build products too
Positioning is also built within an ecosystem
Being present in these spaces helps me understand how different companies, founders, and leaders think about product, growth, technology, and the market.
Beyond broadening my perspective, these interactions help refine my professional positioning: understanding where my experience creates the most value, which conversations I want to be part of, and how to move closer to environments where product, engineering, and business are considered together.
Events like Web Summit and Startup Summit also offer a way to read the ecosystem — to observe its shifts, priorities, and new approaches to building companies and products.
Technology needs to understand business
The closer I get to the startup ecosystem, the clearer it becomes that strong products do not come from good engineering alone.
They also depend on market, distribution, timing, positioning, and the ability to turn a real need into a sustainable operation.
That is why I like to move between product, technology, and business — understanding not only how a solution is built, but why it should exist and how it can grow.
Relationships create new possibilities
To me, networking is not about collecting contacts.
It is about building relationships that can lead to exchange, collaboration, and new opportunities over time.
Conversations with founders, product teams, and other professionals broaden my perspective, create new ways of seeing things, and sometimes open paths that were not in the original plan.
Ultimately, being present in these spaces follows the same thinking I apply to building products:
understand the context, connect the right people, and turn good conversations into real possibilities.
